NMMS Admit Card 2023-24 : National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme is an examination conducted by the Central Government aiming to provide scholarship for students of class 8. The NMMS admit cards for the state level examination will be released by the respective state governments. Students can download the hall ticket from the official website.
NMMS Examination 2023-24
The National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme is a Central government-sponsored scheme. This is aiming at providing financial assistance to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections to arrest their drop out at class 8 and encourage them to continue studies at the secondary stage.
The scholarship amount of Rs. 12000/- per annum is provided so that they could continue their secondary education in Government or Aided schools under Government of kerala other than special or residential schools.
Eligibility criteria
- Students whose parental income from all sources is not more than Rs. 3,50,000/- per annum
- The student should be studying as regular student in a government or aided school under Government of Kerala. The students studying in residential schools or other adopted schools under state government are ineligible
- Applicant shold be passed in 7th standard during 2022-2023 with 55% marks(For SC/ST, marks should be 50%) in Last Term Examination.
The State Level Examination consists of the following two tests, (i) Mental Ability Test (MAT) and (ii) Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The students must pass NMMSS Examination with an aggregate of Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and Mental Ability Test (MAT) to be taken together at minimum of 40% (32% for SC/ST students).
NMMS Result 2024
Those students who scores 40% of marks are considered as qualified in NMMS. The selected students who are qualified in NMMS examination will get an amount of Rs. 12,000/- per annum. This scholarship amount will be valid for a period of four years from the qualifying year. The NMMS Result 2023-24 will be released by the respective states SCERT authority. The students can check NMMS result online by using their user name and password through SCERT web site. The result will be released in state wise.

States will be releasing the NMMS Admit Card 2023-24 through online mode. Every student those who have applied for the examination can download the admit card from the official website using the application number and password. Students can follow the steps mentioned below.
- Step 1. Visit the official website of respective state's SCERT department
- Step 2. Click on the link "NMMS 2023 Admit Card Download"
- Step 3. Enter the required login credentials
- Step 4. Once entered the details click on the submit button
- Step 5. The Hall ticket will be displayed on the screen
- Step 6. Download and take a print out of the same

NMMS Exam Syllabus 2023-24
The question paper of NMMS examination will have two sections MAT & SAT and both sections will have a 90 multiple choice questions. The time duration for each section would be 90 minutes. There is no negative marks for wrong answers. Students who scores 40% of marks are considered as qualified in NMMS. The qualifying marks for SC/ST students shall be 32% of marks.
