VHSE Admission 2024 Application VHSCAP Registration Details

Vocational Higher Secondary Education had a humble beginning in Kerala in 1983-84. To start with, the scheme was implemented in 19 schools with a few selected courses and was extended to 73 schools in 1985-86 offering 27 different vocational courses. At present, there are 389 schools with 1100 batches in the state imparting Vocational Higher Secondary Education in 35 restructured courses with modernized curriculum. Of the 389 schools, 128 schools are in the private aided sector and 261 are in the government sector.

VHSE courses are aimed to prepare students to find their career in various skilled trades. VHSE courses are equivalent to plus two courses and they can go for any higher studies as like +2 students according to their eligibility scores.

Eligibility

SSLC or equivalent qualification can apply for Kerala VHSE course admission. The age limit is 20 years and the relaxation of age limit is as per the government rules.

How to Apply for VHSE Admission through Single Window (Ekajalakam) ?

1.Visit the site www.vhscap.kerala.gov.in
2. Click on the link "Candidate Login"
3. Enter the required information for application registration and submit
4. Take a printout of the submitted online application form

Print out of online application form and all supporting documents and application fee Rs.25/- to be submitted to the school at the time of taking admission.

Kerala VHSE Online Application submission

The candidates can submit online application through the vhscap web site www.vhscap.kerala.gov.in. Due to the COVID-19 situation this year government has decided to conduct VHSE admission only through online mode. No need to submit the documents to the schools manually. Candidates who want to join VHSE courses can submit the online application through VHSCAP Single Window System. The VHSE online registration process is done through VHSCAP site www.vhscap.kerala.gov.in. Only one application is needed for apply to multiple schools. Last date for online registration is September 1st week.

VHSE Allotment 2024 Procedures - VHSCAP

VHSE Admission allotment process is done through a single window system called VHSCAP. Three main allotments and supplementary allotment admission is held through www.vhscap.kerala.gov.in.

Admission process will be done through a centralized allotment process VHSCAP 2021. The allotment process will have three main allotments (First allotment, second allotment, third allotment) and then VHSE supplementary allotment. Before the first allotment a trial allotment will be held, after this VHSE Trial allotment students can make changes in the school and course priority. VHSE Admission will be made based on the first/second/third allotment.

VHSCAP Allotment and VHSE Admission 2024

After the completion of VHSCAP single window online registration the allotment process starts from July 2024. Based on the score of SSLC exam and options filled by the candidate the VHSCAP will be published the trial allotment at www.vhscap.kerala.gov.in.

Candidates can check the trial allotment status at VHSCAP site and this trial allotment will give an idea about the chances of getting admission in HSE school based on the options filled by the candidates as the first preference. After the trial allotment candidates can change their options for first allotment. The first allotment and plus one admission based on the first allotment expected to be starts on July 2nd week, 2024. The remaining vacant seat admission is done through second and supplementary allotment through VHSCAP single window system.
