Kerala General Nursing & Midwifery Course Admission (GNM)
Kerala General Nursing & Midwifery Course Admission (GNM) 2021 application have been invited by Directorate of Health Services, Kerala for admission to 15 Government nursing Schools in Kerala. Eligible candidates can send the application form to the district nursing schools on or before the last date. Last date to receipt of application form is 27.8.2020.
Eligibility for GNM (General Nursing) Admission
Candidates for admission to the course should have passed the Plus two or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 40% marks. Pass mark is only needed for SS/ST candidates.
Age Limit for GNM Nursing Admission
Applicants should have completed the age of 17 years on 31/12/2020 and should not be above the age of 27 years on the date. SC/ST candidates will give the age relaxation as per government rule.
Number of Seats: The total number of seats to General Nursing and Midwifery Course is 365 seat in 14 districts. 20% seats are reserved for boys.

Applicant shall download the Application form and Prospectus which are available in the website of Directorate of Health Services www.dhs.kerala.gov.in.
GNM Application fee:
General candidtaes : 250/-
Sc/ST candidates : 75/-
Application fee should remit by way of challan at treasury in the Head of account of 0210-80-800-88 and submit the treasury challan (in original) along with the filled application form.

How to apply for General Nursing Admission ?
Application forms correctly filled up together with the following documents should be submitted to the Nursing School Principal in the concerned district of the applicant on or before the last date and time.
Those who are applying to the Government Nursing School, Asramam, Kollam for SC/ST students, should submit the application to ‘The Principal, School of Nursing, Asramam, Kollam.
The envelope should be superscribed as "Application for General Nursing for the year 2020". Late, Incomplete and defective application will be rejected.
DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION
a. Application fee receipt (challan) remitted in Treasury (original).
b. Self Attested copy of the relevant page of SSLC or Equivalent certificate to prove the date of birth.
c. Self Attested copies of Mark list of all parts of Higher Secondary or Equivalent Examination and pass certificate in the qualifying examination.
d. Caste / Income Certificate
e. Disability Certificate
f. Nativity certificate (is needed for changing the district)
